LARSEN's Community Based Planning Program:
A Lower Cost Alternative
LARSEN'S Community-Based Planning Program offers a viable alternative
for municipalities that could benefit from professional planning
services but can't afford to maintain a full-time planning staff
or hire a consultant. The Larsen representative works in your
office with Board members or staff. Services may be contracted
on an hourly, not to exceed basis or scheduled for a certain number
of hours or days a week. The services and hours will be tailored
to what the community wants to accomplish and can afford. EXAMPLES:
Updating zoning regulations, self-help assistance with Comprehensive
Plans, SEQR procedural guidance, preparing grant applications,
development review. These contracts normally range between $4,500
- $15,000 per year.
