Team Leader position for Biennial Bridge Inspection in New York State. Must be licensed and actively registered professional engineer in NYS. Minimum of three (3) years experience in bridge design, inspection, or related bridge experience required. Good working knowledge of personal computers in a Windows environment. Conversant with NYSDOT’s bridge inspection software (BIPPI). Knowledgeable in use of digital cameras, scanners, downloading and conversion of digital files. Physically able to work at heights, on ladders and scaffolding, and operate aerial lift or under bridge inspection equipment. Must be able to climb ladders, work in confined spaces and under adverse weather conditions. Training through the NYSDOT Bridge Inspection workshop required.

Assistant Team Leader position for Biennial Bridge Inspection in New York State. Minimum qualifications include degree from 4-year accredited college in Civil Engineering, or an Associates degree in Civil Engineering Technology and eighteen (18) months of experience in bridge design, inspection or related bridge experience. Good working knowledge of personal computers in a Windows environment. Conversant with NYSDOT’s bridge inspection software (BIPPI). Knowledgeable in use of digital cameras, scanners, downloading and conversion of digital files. Physically able to work at heights, on ladders and scaffolding, and operate aerial lift or under bridge inspection equipment. Must be able to climb ladders, work in confined spaces and under adverse weather conditions. Training through the NYSDOT Bridge Inspection workshop necessary.

Prepare CAD documents for civil engineering projects, including municipal, highway, site development, and structural projects. Oversee preparation of CAD documents developed by technical staff, ensuring document quality, consistency and production efficiency is maintained. Manage CAD department and provide leadership to further develop Larsen Engineers’ document quality. Should be proficient in AutoCAD, LandDesktop, Civil 3D, Microstation and Inroads. Experience in Microsoft Office software and ArcGIS desired. The successful candidate will have the ability to supervise and direct others, as well as provide technical support for CAD staff, and to oversee development of additional CAD/GIS services.

Immediate opening for a structural engineer with at least 10 years of prior building design/construction experience. Must be currently licensed in New York State as a Professional Engineer, and be familiar with the NYS Building Code. Good working knowledge of personal computers in a Windows environment. Conversant with structural design and analysis computer programs. Prior experience in forensic analysis of structures a plus.

Construction Inspector to provide inspection assistance for the EIC at the Eastern and Ulster correction facilities. Must be knowledgeable and have commrecial building experience. Candidate must have a vehicle and NYS driver's license.
