ENGINEERING - WITH A PASSION

The project involved the design of a storm water recycling system to provide fire protection and cooling, and process water for Harbec Plastics Inc. The system included a 900,000 gallon pond and a pump station.

The initial plan of the project started in June of 2002 with Larsen Engineers working with Empire State Development to obtain a $200,000 grant fund for this project.

Larsen Engineers provided the engineering services for design of the storm water recycling pond system; drainage piping; and civil works, including a wet well and masonry pump station building over the wet well. The design fire flow capacity is 1,400+ GPM.
